SMY rubber softener
Property:SMY rubber softener is a viscous brown-to-black liquid or semisolid, an It does not dissolve in water but is soluble in ethanol, volatile oil, sodium hydroxide solution, and etc.
Usage: Pine tar is useful to reclaim rubber. It dissolves in the cracked rubber hydrocarbon during the regeneration process. During that process, small molecules can uniformly penetrate into the large molecules of rubber containing sulfur to make the rubber swell, relax the network structure, and increase the distance between molecular chains and oxygen penetration; pine tar can act as the acceptor of the free radical, inhibit the gel effect, and helps spread the activator in the rubber matrix to speed up the regeneration process; pine tar can also improve the viscosity and plasticity of recycled rubber with less pollution and good processing property.
